This Year's Top Horror Movie Comes Back to IMAX Perfectly Timed for Halloween

Ideal for the Halloween season begins, one of the highest-rated scary movies in recent memory is making a special return to movie houses, on this occasion solely in IMAX format.

Premium Format Exclusive Engagement Information

This movie named Sinners, a project directed by the acclaimed director, is set to return in select IMAX locations beginning Oct. 30, running for a limited screening ending on Nov. 5.

For those who caught Sinners in its first cinema run, you already know what a fantastic opportunity this is for one more watch on a large format.

But, in case your initial watch missed out on IMAX, now you can correct that, because the movie is truly spectacular when shown on a IMAX screen.

Bearing in mind the fact its original big-screen engagement was cut short when it came to IMAX showings, because of a different release claiming those screens soon after launch, this could turn out to be your first opportunity to watch the film in large format.

Haven't Seen the Film? It's the Opportunity!

Then again, maybe you didn't seen this movie at all. In that case, it’s time to fix that situation.

You won't find a better time of year for a eerie movie, most notably one that enhances the genre.

Fortunately, Ryan Coogler has some expertise with that, previously achieving comparable work for boxing films and comic book movies.

The final product becomes a gripping but also heartbreakingly horrific tale packed with blood, family trauma, lost love, the undead, and the talented actor taking on two main characters as two brothers called the twins Smoke & Stack.

Coogler's Thoughts About the Star

The team invited Michael B. Jordan to perform this difficult task technically, playing two distinct characters, yet it involved a portrayal that we needed to include the history we developed before to pull this off.
Watching him praised from fellow actors as well as others in filmmaking, I know that would mean so much for him.

Future Projects from the Director

Looking ahead, it's clear that the movie definitely offered Coogler the motivation to continue exploring scary storytelling.

The director has previously shared a new X-Files reboot currently being developed.

Discussing what else is behind his decision to reboot the beloved show, he shared:

Similar to my bond with the Rocky series through my dad, The X-Files is one of those things for my mother.
My mother is incredibly important for me — she’s actually here tonight — so this is a major project for me.
My goal is to do right by her as well as supporters. She has seen a portion of the material I developed for it. She is excited.

One More Screening to See Sinners

There’s no telling when the director's version for The X-Files will get to the public.

However, everyone get a final opportunity to see his absolutely remarkable horror movie as it comes back on the big screen on October 30.
